Tony brought in his prize possession, a vintage Hawthorne 3 speed bicycle. He had it since he was a young boy. It was so special to him because it represented Freedom to him. He could ride off on the bike and get away from everyone for a while. He could clear his head and just enjoy the ride. The decals were pretty messed up, so we contacted Bruce Crawford once again to reproduce the decals. He did a phenomenal job as usual. Noel did the rest of the work with the chrome clean up and paint processes. We used NOS or new replacement parts as available for the worn out parts. “Freedom” turned out beautiful! Tony was beside himself when he picked it up and so happy that he chose to have it restored. Although it took longer than expected it blew away Tony’s expectations.
